DIRECTIONS FROM CHELMSFORD: 

Chelmsford-Galleywood-Stock-B1007

OR 

A12 Chelmsford By-Pass. DO NOT LEAVE at A130 exit
which is SP Basildon but at the next exit (Galleywood) SP
Billericay - B1007 Turn left. You will pass through-Stock.

You will go straight through Billericay. High Street  to join
A176 SP Basildon. After 4 miles you will pass under A127. 
Follow the A176 into Basildon passing through two
roundabouts.
 
At Basildon Town Centre You will reach the double
roundabout .  A BP garage is ahead of you and a railway
bridge to the right. 

Continue on A176 passing under railway bridge and follow
the road until you reach roundabout, BASILDON HOSPITAL.
Go right around the roundabout back to the direction you’ve
just come from. 

As you go down the hill, passing through pedestrian
controlled lights take the first turning on the left
THE KNARES. 

Continue along the Knares for half a mile until you reach
Pub CASTLEMAYNE and shops on left.
 
Continue along THE KNARES and take the 2nd turning
left, which is GAYNESFORD. 61 is on the right on the bend.
